KP Spell Helper is a useful application for the users who want to practice their spelling skills. The program was designed to help grade students practice their spelling on a regular basis ans improve their results.



It uses the text to speech technology in order to speak the words from a list and record the spelling. The accuracy of the test is displayed in the main window which also allows you to review the words and their spelling.



This Microsoft Windows based application is built on top of the Microsoft SAPI TTS (Text To Speech) framework. The voice used in the KP Spell Helper application is based on what voices you have installed within your Windows Operating system. Early versions of XP may only have Microsoft Sam, which is a horrible robotic sounding voice. Newer versions of XP, Vista and Windows7 have more natural sounding voices like Anna, Mary and LH Michelle.
